being new to tooning is ther a proper depth that the pro should be in the water when under way my guess is completely covered but how much deeper. also i read on another forum posst that you should not cross wakes at an angle due to twisting the welds any advise might save an accident on my part

I am fairly new to pontooning also but after looking at the way my 98 Grumann tritoon is put together I would never worry about crossing any wake in any direction. If I had to worry about that I would find a different boat. There are way to many things that can happen on the water to worry about if the welds can hold up. Just my two cents worth.
