Hola - New user

I'm in New Braunfels and visit Canyon Lake weekly. Lake Dunlop just reopened but I'm not sure if I want to risk it yet. There still might be considerable debris from the flood in the water.

My name is Matt, and I am the creator/moderator of the site. I just finished setting this site up last night (I had done a lot of re-tooling in the last two weeks). I would love to see pictures of your boat, and also have you give me an online tour of Canyon Lake (where the best boat ramps are and any great beaches or places to go on the lake) as I am planning to try that place out this fall.

Please post that under "Places we love to boat" so the rest of us can benefit from your weekly knowledge of the lake.

Thanks for updating the site, much easier! We have had our Avalon Ambassador pontoon for 3 weeks now, and love it! We used to have a cruiser at Canyon at the north marina, but now are at lake LBJ with our pontoon and love being able to go into coves and to the nice sandbars in the lake. We keep her in the water at LBJ Yacht Club. The marina here is so very nice and clean. Yesterday we anchored on a bar and then did a cookout on our grill, it was so fun! I did finally take some photos, so hoping i have time to get these up.
