Took this for fun, still looks good from a distance..but up close it is starting to get ugly!

I love many aspects of pontoons, but I wish there was a way to avoid scratches and dents. I have 260 hours put on my boat in a little over a year. You are bound to get some nicks and cuts, but I am considering getting rid of my side tin, and going with canvas side walls. (around the railing). I saw it on a house boat and I thought..now there is a cool idea. There would be a lot less upkeep! I did not take a picture of that one, but I found a few on the web.
