Glad to find a "Texas-specific" pontoon forum!!
Wife and I are new owners of a 2010 Bennington 2275 (cruiser/fisher combo)with 90hp Yamaha. Great fun, already don't want to do much but go out on the boat. So far we have been to Lake Grapevine and Joe Pool Lake (from Cedar Hill SP) several times each. Look forward to getting to all the lakes in the greater DFW area, then exploring out farther. Will post some pics soon! Again, thanks for the forum.

My wife and I go to Joe Pool a lot. Maybe we will see you out there sometime. Another lake we really like is Richland Chambers. Like Joe pool it has a nice marina with restaurant to pull up and eat. Very Happy

We are glad to have you here with us. I don't know very much about the lakes you boat in, but I would love to see some pictures!

Listen, please post as often as you can because right now we have 20 members, but not enough posts right now..so people check and don't see anything new, so they don't contribute much.

We have only been online for about 2 months, but we are growing!

Ask lots of questions, and share lots of photos!

Will be looking for you on Joe Pool fredeboy. Since my daughter and family live in Cedar Hill, we will be going there alot. We will get to Richland Chambers eventually - my son-in-law bought a lot on the lake 4 years ago (nothing on it yet). Problem is, it is about 90 miles away since I live in far north Fort Worth!

Really liked the pictures and idea of your mosquito netting enclosure; wife and I have been talking about camping out on the boat. Bennington dealer told me it would be about $2700 for a half enclosure from the factory and the website of a Dallas company that makes them would be about $1800 for a custom made half enclosure. Your way seems like it would serve the purpose better anyway, be a lot cheaper and probably easier to install and store.

Going to try posting pic(s)if I can figure it out.
