Love the boat and it even came with the full camping enclosure.Have big plans for a few mods to make it a real home on the lake. Here are a few photos.I hit Grapevine,Lewisville,Cedarcreek'Tawakoni and Texoma!

Really like that enclosure! Is that one of those remote trolling motors? Had a chance to try it out yet? I've already decided I'm gonna need to upgrade my 12V trolling motor to a 24V for those windy days on Cedar Creek and Richland Chambers.

man that is nice...that enclosure rocks. Looks like your bud took damn good care of that boat. Look how clean.

I live a long way from you in southeast texas but back in April or so we traveled to Lake Tawakoni to look at a boat for sell at Kenny's Landing. So I packed up my crew and quite a few C-notes and made the drive up there. He let us stay the night in a trailer. I ended up not buying the boat but we booked a trip with an older gentelman named Johnny that catfish guides on his pontoon and he is on Craigs. We worked out a deal for $300 (me, wife +two kids) and went out for a few hours. We started out in open water drifting with shad and my gawd I was shocked at the big blues (seemed like they were all >20") we caught. I was literally stunned, and this was not early...we are talking like 1100 in the morning... Shocked

Later we went to the stumps and used punchbait, I didn't like that as much, and we called it a day. Instead of him telling us our time was up, we were like "dude, we have tons of fish....we're good!" Twisted Evil

so anyway I just saw you mention Tawakoni and it is a great lake though I have only been there one time. we caught shad under the shorter bridge and there were some people tearing up the crappie.
