Took the kids tubing on Clear Creek, cooked hamburgers on the water..great day!

I had a great day today, took my kids out and an older couple i know who just loves to tag along. Had a fantastic day on the water, got off just after sunset! LOVE THE SUNSETS while on the water!

Taught my 15 year old son how to get up on two skis (he knows how to wakeboard..but he did "old school" today. He LOVED it.

I also let someone tow me while I "old schooled" on a slalom ski.

Now I know you are a good guy. We have 4 daschunds. Great Dogs. Sounds like you had a good day on the lake. Enjoy those ski days while you can as they get harder to recover from in a few more years. LOL
I should have posted our first over night on the toon in this section instead of Favorite Places but be sure to check it out. It was great!!

Our dog Pebbles LOVES to be on the boat. She gets up on the bow near the anchor (front gate) and sticks her nose into the air and just rides there! SHe loves it. If we are ever about to cross a boat wake she squats down and gets ready for impact!

She does fine! Yes, your right, running out of summer days and years on the body. I am 41 and after skiing (which most people of the younger generation have never tried...they think wakeboarding is the only way to go!) I was exhausted, I could hardly climb the ladder to get back into the boat!

The last time I broke out my slalom I was 54 and it was just a beautiful day. I had my 3 year old granddaughter with us and after a few rounds I cut out to the side and busted my arse. After rolling across the water and finally crashing my baby said "Poppy dont do that anymore" So I did not. Could not hardly walk for a few days but glad I went once more. Here is my dog Fred. He is thirteen but loves the boat.

I own these two tubes made by O'rageos called "Mass Panic" (Sold at Academy Sports) for about $200.00. They are basically 8' lilly pads, that my kids jump back and forth on like Frogs! It is halarious to watch them not quite make the gap!

When I pull this many kids on two tubes it slows me down to about 22mph but the kids don't seem to mind the drop in speed!

Give it a try sometime!
