New member here. After having bass boats off and on for most of my life, I decided to go for comfort this time. Bought a used 1996 Starcraft 180, and took it out twice last weekend. Really enjoyed the ride of the toon, and much easier on my back. I was also quite surprised at how easy it is to unload and load on the trailer!

I think I'm hooked!

what kind of motors did you have on your bass boats? just wondering what size and if you had any problems. those bass boats have some huge motors. I imagine the initial cost is pretty high then if you have like a V6 or bigger the more of a nightmare it is if there is a problem(s)

also I never thought about how much fuel those bass fisherman use but I was reading like for a tournament they start out with fifty plus gallons...holy crap! What a Face

My last ranger was 175 Merc. It liked the fuel, but if you cut back to 1/2 - 2/3 throttle it was much better.
